Mums are individual and unique. They give all they can to their family - usually without a second thought to themselves.
Being a mum is great! As soon as the little baby arrives, nothing compares to the instant love and desire to protect the new life that you've just been presented with. I was certainly suprised at the power of the emotions I felt. I had previously thought before the birth of my first son that I'd be returning to work full time. But on the arrival of my little bundle there was no way I was going to leave him with anyone else to look after.
The years have past by, my sons are both teenagers and things are slightly different. They do their own thing which doesn't involve me much. They need a taxi of course, and there's this thing called food which they need presenting with throughout the day. I still want to be here for them during the school holidays. I still want to be here if they are poorly and need to take a day off school. I still want to be their mum, the reliable rock that's there for them, always.
Have you done the same, or are you doing the same?
Being mum sometimes does mean that we forget who we are ourselves, doesn't it? I received over £100 worth of gift vouchers for a plush spa beauty treatment for my 40th birthday. However, I almost lost the opportunity to use them due to the vouchers expiring. I just about fitted in a reflexology session before the year was up, and luckily I was able to carry over the remaining money to another session; this was spent yet the following year. See? We don't always take time out to look after ourselves do we? I can remember someone saying to me "If mumma ain't happy, the family ain't happy." I believe this is true. If you feel unhappy or resentful, trapped, (be honest), it reflects in your actions and attitude. We need to look after ourselves. We need to be happy and healthy. We need to feed our soul with friendships, love and playtime too.
So what is Mumma's Makeover?
These are the Mummas I'm looking for - those that choose to stay at home or maybe have a part time job that fits around the children. Mumma's Makeover is a one off package, and what a package!!!
I am Sylvia Carey of Fitness Foundations (fitness and fatloss coach) and Iv'e got together with Melanie Green, Melanie's Beauty Therapy and Yvette Craig - Yvette Craig Photography and together we are offering this one off package Mumma's Makeover.
What's involved?
You will be first taken through a Kinetic Chain Assessment (KCA). I'll be assessing your posture to see what needs strengthening, what needs stretching to help you perform better. This will help rid you of any physical niggles you may be experiencing. We'll also talk about your diet too.
The outcome of your assessment will dictate the exercise programme. You'll visit me twice a week for 4 weeks, the KCA assessment being your first session. We will be concentrating on getting you moving better so that you gain optimum results from your exercise programme. The KCA, exercise programme together with the nutrition guidance means you'll lose up to at least one dress size by the end of this 4 weeks. Val, a previous KCA Client got awesome results, see here.
You'll then move onto the bootcamp - 4 weeks of working outside with like minded-people. Workouts are on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. The 9.30 session should suit "Mumma's Makeover" clients. If not there are 6.15am and 6.15pm sessions available too. :) We will be looking to your losing up to at least another dress size during bootcamp too. This bootcamp starts on the 7th November. Previous campers got fantastic results see here.
Now it's time for you to book your make-up along with your mini manicure and pedicure with Melanie 07979 420 418. Melanie informs me that you'll need heavier make-up for a photoshoot and that a mini manicure and pedicure involves a massage of your hands and feet too! Melanie often does pamper parties at her home and is always learning new beauty therapies to add to the vast amount she has to offer already.
Now you'll be ready for Yvette! Yvette has been shortlisted for Kent's Best Photographer of the Year. Good luck with that Yvette.
Yvette will either do the photoshoot in her studio or on location. She suggested that "Mumma's Makeover" clients may like to choose a boudoir shoot but that's up to you to decide. Yvette will let you choose the best shot and produce a 5 x 7 print for you.
You are probably thinking it all sounds wonderful and desirable, but is it within my reach?
Individually the package would cost
